About Us

Kathleen Chiu

Kathleen started Astra Law in 2019 after working at multiple national firms. Her experience includes drafting and negotiating property and related contracts, wills, probate and associated contractual documents.

Maria Armstrong
Supervised Solicitor

Maria was admitted as a Solicitor in 2019.  She completed her Bachelor of Laws degree at Southern Cross University and a Graduate Certificate of Legal Practice at The College of Law.

Maria is also a Registered Migration Agent and has run a successful Migration Practice for over 15 years.  She looks forward expanding her knowledge in Property Law, Conveyancing and Wills.

Christopher Lean
Operations and Technical – JP

Christopher has a dual responsibility – acting as both the COO and CTO in the organisation – he manages the technology and day-to-day operations of the firm and is responsible for the overall technology strategy upon which the organisation operates on. With training in software engineering and prior product commercialisation experience, he guides the adoption of business process strategies throughout the organisation. He has held previous roles in taking product to market and is tertiary qualified – with degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science/Mathematics.

He also serves as a Justice of Peace within the state of NSW.
